Jillian Kogan donates art to Heal the Bay silent auction
California Artist's work to benefit environmental organization's effort to continue stewardship over Southern California's coastal waters
June 1, 2006 Santa Monica - Heal the Bay's 15th Annual "Bring Back the Beach" Dinner and Silent Auction will be hosted on Thursday, June 1, 2006 at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, CA. California Fine Artist, Jillian Kogan, has generously donated her piece, "Reinvent Yourself" for the silent auction. This dynamic piece was recently photographed for House Beautiful magazine.
Honorees Laird Hamilton & Gabrielle Reece, along with 1,200 representatives will come together at the annual "Bring Back the Beach" dinner.
Past honorees have included: HBO Chairman Chris Albrecht; Rob Reiner, L.A. Mayor Jim Hahn, Pierce & Keely Brosnan, L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, Dustin Hoffman, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
Last year, guests were entertained by emcee Garry Marshall and celebrity presenters Keely Brosnan, Laird Hamilton, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Gabrielle Reese, as well as by musical guests Hootie and The Blowfish.
For 21 years, Heal the Bay has made Southern California waters safer and healthier for people and marine life through a unique approach that combines science, advocacy, education and fun.
